Vistek Medical Adds Capacity, Capabilities
Vistek Medical, a contract manufacturer of medical implants and components for the orthopedic, spine, trauma, and extremity markets, has completed the recent expansion of its manufacturing capacity and capabilities.

“This expansion enables us to meet the demand for precision machined medical components and maintain the service level that our clients require,” said John Ducaji, the company’s director of sales and business development.

The manufacturing expansion included additional 5-Axis milling machines and a new coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for the firm’s quality lab. According to the company, the expansion will allow up to 20 percent more output over the next 12 months.

“We are coming off record months in January and February and this capacity expansion better aligns us with customer needs and helps set the tone for a record sales year,” said Ducaji.

Vistek Medical is based in Ivyland, Pa., and provides material procurement, Swiss turning, milling, testing, finishing, device assembly, and shipping services. It is FDA registered as well as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certified.
